Holistic Academic Counseling
Our BHS Academic Acheivement Counselors are trained to provide Holistic Academic Counseling that focuses on empowering students in their personal, proffesional, and academic lives. -
Mental Health Counseling
Scholars can access a dedicated mental health professional who is experienced in supporting the unique needs of BHS students and can provide ongoing support. -
Financial Aid Counseling
Scholars can connect with a dedicated BHS financial aid counselor who can help them understand the ins and outs of their financial aid package. - Peer & Personal Guidance / Professional Mentorship

Personal Guidance / Professional Mentorship is a student driven mentor program in which you choose from a group of mentors who will help guide you towards your personal and professional goals

- BHS Scholarship
- First year participating in the program, scholars receive a $3000 dollar scholarship ( $1,500 fall semester and $1,500 spring semester)
- For every continuing year participating in the program, scholars receive $2,000 ($1,000 fall semester and $1,000 spring semester)

Satelite Food Pantry
Scholars can access our satellite food pantry, in partnership with the Basic Needs Center, where they can pick up fresh Cal Dining meals, frozen meals, shelf-stable items, snacks, and more!

Emergency Funding
This fund provides limited financial assistance to students who have exhausted all allocated BHS funds and are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses because of temporary hardship. Emergency funds can be used for unexpected, non-recurring, financial distress.
