Hay’Lia Tasher (she/her) is a Senior originally from Los Angeles, CA pursuing a degree in Sociology. Her sociological interests include the sociology of race, gender, & medicine. These interests are rooted in her passion for reproductive rights, women’s health, social justice, and community care. In her free time, Hay’Lia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, trying new foods, and listening to music. She hopes to connect and grow with the Berkeley Hope Scholars community.
