Hay’Lia Tasher (she/her/hers) is a fourth year student originally from Los Angeles, CA pursuing a degree in Sociology. Her sociological interests include sociology of race, gender, & medicine. These interests are rooted from her passion for reproductive rights, women’s health, social justice, and community care. After undergrad, she intends to attend graduate school to obtain a Master’s degree in Public Health. In her free time, Hay’Lia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, trying new foods, and listening to music. She hopes to connect and grow with the Berkeley Hope Scholars community.
